These are some things that you might notice during a movie:
A real film:
In a real film you may notice that there is a certain pattern in the opening credits, In older types films opening titles were shown in white letters on a black background for the opening set of titles and the end set of titles of the films. However, more recent films came up with more exciting ways to show the titles of a film e.g. using computer graphics and visual objects. Even though the way that the titles look has changed the order of the opening titles have stayed the same.
Casting and title:
The title of the film comes first. It would be beneficial to have the title of the film in a different font or colour to the opening credits so its stands out and people know that thats the title of the film.
when it comes to actors/actresses it is so important that they are placed in the correct order. If you have famous celebrity names this is where they would go; straight after the title. Either way the main actors/actresses should be listed straight after the title.
Cast continued:
After the main characters you give the rest of the primary cast, this is everyone who has a main part in the script but is not the main focus of the story line. If there is a well known character who is playing a small role you may want to put their name on the end of the cast list by listing who they play.
All other after the casting:
You will need to make sure that there is a list of the director of photography, who did the primary score and the casting directors, after this list of people all of the producers both regular and executive also include the product designers will come next. Finally, you will need to put in the editor which ends the list of normal primary positions in the order of titles. To finish off opening credits list the director again and do this by putting " film by...". If the director and the writer are the same person hold his/her early credit and put it with the higher role, in this case the director.
Opening:
The opening credits of a film starts with distribution company or main studio backer; this is most likely going to be an independent distributer that didn't what to be a part of the film so the film so it will appear on its own as a distribution company. It is commonly shown as a "Distribution Company Presents..." and then then the name of the production company is followed. A lot of the time the production company will be established by you and can go from being just a name you have for yourself to a full production house. This will appear as "A production company name production". After this the directors credits tend to come, labelling it "A directors name film".
