In the video above, are Nathan's and Emily's review of the Preliminary Task. We say what we liked and transferred to our OTS and what we didn't like. As this is our first task we didn't expect a masterpiece.
Nathan - In our 'Prelim' we only use a limited amount of camera angles. We only used a Mid Shot throughout the clip, limiting the potential of the film. We've improved as we have extended the different ones we've use. Within our OTS we use multiple Mid Shots, High Angles, Pan's, Low Angles and a birds eye view. This verity of camera techniques intensifies our OTS unlike our 'Prelim'. Emily - In our Prelim it is clear to see we didn't vary our shot types/camera angles. This limits the potential of the film making it very boring and not enjoyable. From looking at our Prelim it is clear see we needed to vary our shot types and change our camera angles. |
In this video we watch our Opening Title Sequence back and say what we did well and what we would of improved or changed
Nathan - Since our Preliminary Task the amount of improvement we've made is good. We have gained more skills which has allowed us to use a verity of camera angles and shots. This was limited in our 'Prelim' task as we didn't use these gained techniques. The positive aspect of this is that it shows we have changed for the better. Although their are some negative points to our final OTS, we will learn from these. But these are only small changes like changing the title and font, lower the lighting and cut out unneeded parts. Emily - Since our Prelim task we have improved our OTS massive amounts. We have used more camera angles, by using low and high angles, we have also used a continuous pan making it look like a walk through scene. As a whole our OTS has improved, even though we still have improvements we can learn. |
